After installing XtraFinder:
Brilliant deal breaker without it iMac would only be partially functional. Absolutely cannot work without it, since Apple has destroyed their older system of colour labels. The Apple colour blobs now are terrible and useless. Also, one up on Apple - XF makes columns resize automatically as you search around finder. Brilliant. The only drawback to XF is that Apple does not officially adopt it into the App Store or work it into El Cap, Sierra

AUTOMATICALLY ADJUST WIDTH OF COLUMNS
Once the app is installed and open, go to the menu bar utility and click Preferences. From the General tab, enable Tabs. You’ll see more features here as well, like remembering tabs when closing Finder, using Cmd + Number shortcuts for switching to a particular tab and more.
Download and open up the file, then go through the installation wizard to complete the set up.
Open the Applications folder in the Finder (if it doesn’t appear in the sidebar, go to the Menu Bar, open the “Go” menu, and select Applications in the list), search for XtraFinder application by typing its name in the search field, and then drag it to the Trash (in the dock) to begin the uninstall process. Alternatively you can also click on the XtraFinder icon/folder and move it to the Trash by pressing Cmd + Del or choosing the File and Move to Trash commands.
Totalfinder works for me in Sierra. I went back to that after XtraFinder was broken after the upgrade. I've had no problems with it.
2. Launch MacRemover in the dock or Launchpad, select XtraFinder appearing on the interface, and click Run Analysis button to proceed.
